Operation Christmas Child
| We invite every family to take a shoe box or two or
three and fill it for the millions of hurting kids around the world. This
project is personal--a shoe box gift can be as unique as the person
packing it. It's so simple, even a child can do it. Please don't forget
that the most important item to pack in your box is prayer. Remember to
pray especially for the child who will receive your box. Through OPERATION
CHRISTMAS CHILD, you can make a world of difference. The boxes need to be
returned by Sunday, November 11. Direct questions to Maria or Kathleen.
In addition to filling your boxes located in the church foyer is the AWANA'S OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD COLLECTION BOX. The AWANA Clubs will be filling shoe boxes for OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD. If you would like to donate items for the AWANA children to earn for their clubs boxes, please place the items in the box located in the church foyer. The children will earn Shoebox Bucks to purchase items from their AWANA Store. Any items not chosen by the children will be used to create additional boxes from the church family. |
